Our programs and scholarships are designed to be a catalyst that helps members reach their goals and fulfill their potential through higher education and community support. We serve formerly incarcerated and homeless individuals who are willing to try a new path in life and choose higher education as a way to reach these goals. Learn more about the positive impact we have and join us in bringing about positive change to individuals who have experienced homelessness, incarceration and addiction.

Here at Second Chance Foundation, we know that sometimes all it takes to change our world is a little support. Since our founding in 2016, we have been determined to make an impact. . Through all of our endeavors we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs. That it is never too late to start making the right decisions. We believe with mentorship, education,   scholarships and support anyone can change the destructive path of a life of homelessness, incarceration and addiction. Both Kyle and Jason have faced these issues for years until education changed their life forever. Now these individuals make up a highly motivated team driven to the success of others with the creation of student clubs, scholarships and transitional housing that supports individuals attending college remove critical barriers to their success.

College gave me my  second chance. It is because of the generosity that was shown to me through scholarships, that I was able to complete my schooling, and start my new life.

Mollie Burton

When I stepped into transitional housing after treatment. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. But Jason's encouragement and guidance brought me to school  and now I have found a way to thrive working in a treatment center helping others change their lives.

Reaching out to those still struggling with homelessness and addiction.

Urban Skate Park

Community outreach has never been more important. We have the lived experience of being homeless ourselves. So with an understanding heart and a willingness to Mentor those still struggling, our community outreach gives us an opportunity to engage with people directly. While bringing critical needs like clothes, food and blankets to those who have the need. We carry our message that real change is possible with the right support network and actively seek to be that support network.
